I'd buy a Rossi before I'd buy a Charter. If it's otherwise in good shape, I'd buy it for $100 if I had in mind what you do for it.
There used to be a guy who did some pretty good gun writing for the Petersen Group. Don't recall his name and
he died awhile back. But he owned a Rossi M-88 and seemed satisfied with it, certainly for the money. He carried it when fishing.
I don't know who imports Rossi now, but you seem to have their US phone number. I think the factory is in Porto Allegre, Brasil, to use their spelling. If your Portuguese is a little rusty, they probably have an Export Director who speaks English.
If one of our Brazilian members sees this, maybe he'll tell us how the brand is perceived on the home market.
