I have an opportunity to buy a Model 25-0; 6-1/2" barrel with diamond targets and no box. It is a "S" serial number and has Model of 1955 on the right side of the barrel. Condition is very nice so very slight blue loss-- I don't know percentages but say 95% to 97%.
What's a fair price for it?
Thanks,Stonecove

Stone , I would be personally curious to know if the 25 no dash is indeed a 4 screw gun , and the serial # range.
It should be in the S190xxx to S205xxx range.

In my estimation, a very desirable gun.
Condition is extremely important, check the bore carefully with a good light source for any telltale rings or bulges. Work the double action and make sure the cylinder clicks into place well before the hammer drops on each chamber (timing(.

Take your time , go over it thoroughly in good light. Any deficiencies found can be brought to the attention of the seller and used as bargaining to negotiate a better price

Good luck ,,keep us posted ,,AL

Also use a micrometer to mic the bore at both ends. Early Model 25's often had .454" bores which is more suitable to the older .45 Colt projectile than the .452" size of the .45 ACP. If you're just collecting, it makes little difference, but it'll make a big difference if you want to shoot it.
