Hello,
Been reading a lot and slowly acquiring some Smith pistols, and just bought a model 58 and it has what I believe are target grips. I can't upload pictures because the pistol is in the WA state 10 day jail requirement. With the research I have done the pistol should have been shipped with Magna grips and just want to verify exactly what I a need to look for to get the correct era grips for the pistol. From my research the Model 58 and Model 520 sported the same grips. I do have a 520 Pic attached, just want to verify that these are what I need to be on the lookout for. This is not an S serial number gun, it is a N serial number gun.
I have read this thread and am more confused now with the Diamond Magna and the PC (Plain Clothes whatever that means) Magna grips.
Thank you so much.

S-series Model 58....did they all come with diamond PC Magna grips...or did some come with non-diamond PC Magna grips?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I recently acquired a nice Model 58, but it has replacement Pachy's on it and I would like to find the correct S&W wood grips for same. Any help would be appreciated!
