Hey Folks - New Member from IL here

Hi Everyone,

Just found this forum and wanted to post up a little intro. Proud owner of a new M&P 40 Full Size and thought I'd join the S&W Forum. I've been an avid hunter/gun enthusiast for over 40 years now. Mostly shotgun, handguns and muzzle loaders. Handgun wise this is my first S&W (Been a Ruger fan...but don't hate me ) Love my Super Blackhawk but it's not ideal for home defense. My wife and I narrowed our search down to the M&P 40, Ruger SR40 and Beretta PX4 Storm...after handling each of them we both agreed that the M&P 40 just felt right. We look forward to getting more familiar with it and plan on putting A LOT of rounds through it.
