hi to all
as my user name implies, I grew up on the Red River.
Just traded for a 686-3 4 inch from a close friend, have not shot it yet but already love it!
Been doing a lot of reading on this forum and other places, seems the 686 is well thought of.
Was in Ok City today and bought a couple of boxes of ammo (price !!!) but I have a couple hundred rounds of 38 spc and my son is going to give me his reloading equip so should be ok.
Hammer has been bobbed, but I think that will make me a better shooter.
Gun is in real good shape, burn rings on the cylinder face, but that apparently is no problem from what I have read.
lots of good info here, keep it up
