I'm thinking it works the way an old typewriter does. Sort of like when you'd hit a key and the letter bar would strike the paper, except the keys have been replaced with switches.

With modification, it could be applied to control switches for jumbo jets so that pilots/co-pilots wouldn't need a check sheet.

But better still would be a stick that comes up that then
switches them all off and then back on in sequential order.
But only after switching them back off all at once and
then proceeds to grab his stick, with a Hand that comes
out of the box like the old Adams Family toy.

I laughed out loud when I watched the vid. Wife asked what was so funny. Showed her the vid; she looks at me and said " I don't get it".
