4 3.25”
5 fixed
Has strain screw and is a five screw gun.

Any help appreciated !

Welcome to the forums from the cotton and peanut covered plains of the Wiregrass! That is a Post-WWII .32 Hand Ejector made around 1948. It is about 200 units above the first known post-war serial 536685. After several significant engineering changes, S&W assigned it as Model 30 in 1957.

Thanks for the information. And my next question was is it good for plinking. I checked midway and see most everything I need to develop a load. No projectiles though.
