Assuming the media got it right Federal District Court Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo, acting yesterday, issued an order granting final summary judgement in the case of Hoffman v. Bonta. Assuming the order is actually enacted and not further appealed this requires that CA set up some mechanism by which non-residents can legally carry weapons in California. Currently CA does not recognize out-of-state permits and has no method for non-residents to apply for a carry permit. Further info available on the Firearms Policy Coalition web site.
