I have a 50 yard range here at home. I purchased some of remingtons Hog Hammer ammo and was anxious to try it out. Rifle was sighted in for 55 grain PPU ammo. First thing I noticed was that the Barnes tripple shock bullets in 62 grain weight had a little more kick to it. {Remington claims 3100 fps.} Upon close view of the target the HH ammo shot three inches high and one inch to the left. Rezeroed the rifle and shot some three shot groups that were 3/4 inches. This with shooting off a bench with a block of wood covered by a blanket. Very consistent. I was very pleased. Ya see I have Parkinsons and cannot really hold steady. I say cannot hold steady on paper, but when shooting game the crosshairs are dead steady. I think the HH ammo will do the job.

Thank you for the review of the Remington Hog Hammer ammo. What I find especially beneficial is the performance of the ammo in relation to you the shooter.

Ron, let us know how those do on the hogs. The all copper round should do great on hogs!

Hog hammer

Here in Georgia there is a WMA that is over run with hogs. So much so that they have spring hog hunts. Four of them in fact. Being familar with the area, I plan on spending some time trying to locate a few. I will surely post pics here if I am successful.
