Hogue Rubber Grips for 439/539/639

I know Pachmayr makes them, but I'd like a set of Hogues. Cannot seem to find any. Were they ever made? Discontinued?

Anyone know if they might be available somewhere?

From my experience the 1st and 2nd gen 39 series only has the pachy grips available. Hogue does make wood grips for the early 39 series, but not rubber. You could give the Hogue Handall slip on grip and see if that does what you need. They are cheap and last a while. I use one on my 1066 and it works wonders.

I have the Pacmayers on my 439. I like them. A little thick, but it is a single stack. Good grip feel from the micro-checkered rubber.

The hogue on my 6906 is REALLY thick.

You could try the Uncle Mike's rubber grips. I think they make them for the 439. They mount like the factory grips - they don't increase the girth of the grip like the Pachmyrs. You may be able to find them easier also.
