I just received my Galco belt and holster for my Uberti 1873 Cattleman from opticsplanet. Took 3-4 weeks and much to my disappointment, there is a cross-draw holster (DRC152) in the packaging for a DR152. I like Galco leather and the quality of this stuff isn't bad but after the delay and now the wrong item, I have to decide to exchange or just return things. Even though I followed the measurement instructions, I could have ordered the next size up on the belt as well.

They have a 10% sale going on at the moment so I could have saved a couple $$ more. I may ask for the discount if I keep any of this.

Has anyone ever done a return and/or exchange with opticsplanet? The website says they pay for the return shipping which is one of the reasons I took a chance on them in the first place. I have to wait until tomorrow to speak to them.

My husband bought me a Galco SB2 holster belt from them.
We returned it in an exchange for a different size. Easy and quick.

Personally, I would give Optic Planet a chance to make things right for you.
Galco is a great holster, many fellow SASS shooters are using Kirpatrick, El Paso, Bianchi, etc for a set up like you mentioned.

So far, I'm a happy camper with OpticsPlanet. I just called them and explained the issues I had. I suggested I'd be willing to keep the cross draw holster for the current coupon offer of 10% off the existing order and 10% off the holster I originally ordered. He looked and the correct holster is in stock. His response was, how about 15% off everything instead, it's still a better deal for everyone to not have to pay for return shipping.

We'll see when I get the other holster!

Ugh, received my second crossdraw holster (W-DRC152) in strongside packaging (W-DR152). Does opticsplanet repackage stuff?

I'll call them again tomorrow..... er later today....
