Just got a Model 63 to use for Draw-Point-Shoot drills. (And save $ by not shooting .38Spl).

The holster will also be used to carry while walking/plinking, maybe even small game hunting at close range (the last depends on me being good enough with the gun...)

Criteria are
1) Slight forward cant
2) Snap rather than slip onto belt.
3) Fit up to 1.75" belt.

Specific suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks.

never heard of a 3" model 63 (2" and 4" and now 5"), but not 3 . (I'm no expert, though.)

Any J-frame holster for your length will work.

Try Milt Sparks, Kramer, El Paso Saddelry, Alessi, Galco, High Noon, ........

You are invited to my website. For what you have described I might recommend the Model 1-SL, which I make open top or with thumb-break retention.
