Holster for a 686.

I am looking for a Krydex holster for a 686 4" 7 shot.

I like Comp Tac holsters but they do not make anything for the 7 shot 686 only the 6 shot.

Anybody have any recomendations?

FIST in NYC. They make a kydex/leather hybrid that makes my 50 oz. 629 comfy. Get the 1A with a cant.

I have never had a 686 plus, is there that much difference in the cylinder width. Kydex is pretty pliable and I wonder if a 686 holster would not work?

I have several revolver holsters from Talon Tactical, he might be willing to give you a little more cylinder room if you needed it.

There should be no difference. Both six and seven shot cylinders have to fit the same frame, and the distance from the bore to the axis on which the cylinder spins does not change.

Isn't the fit issue a question of whether the holster is highly boned or not? I believe the cylinder flutes fall in different places on a 686+ cylinder, even though all the other dimensions of the gun are the same as a 686.
