Holster ID Help

Bought this holster recently because it's well made, well tooled, and in great shape. Problem is, I have no idea what it's supposed to fit. There are no maker's marks anywhere on it. I've tried a K-frame, J-frame, 1911, and a Ruger Blackhawk, all to no avail. I suspect a .22 semiauto, maybe? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would guess that you are right with .22 Auto Probably Colt or High Standard

.22 semi auto looks like it would fit.

Where in Texas? If you are close we can try one of my Brownings in it.

That impression visible at the top may help, look at it with a light and you may be able to tell what gun put it there.
I agree, .22 auto is probable.
