So...just picked up a TALO 3" 686+ and am looking for a good concealed carry holster. I LOVE my Milt Sparks VM2, but they're backed up until at least January! I've got a solid Beltman Belt and need a good IWB holster that will support and pull in the L-frame.

I would recommend you visit Lobo Gun Leather's site. Ray is a member here and well respected custom holster craftsman. Many here, including myself, have ordered holsters and carry gear from Ray and consider his product among the best in the biz.

His pricing is extremely reasonable and turn-around time is quick, too.

Here's his site...

Here's a combo Ray made for my Model 40...

+1 for Lobo. I just recieved one of Ray's holsters for a 325 NG. It's a perfect fit and very comfortable. Turn around was 4 weeks as promised.

I will continue to be a customer.

I will also vote for Lobo Gun Leather also!!! Here's a picture of the holster that I just got last week for my 442. Also in the pic is an IWB holster that Ray made for me for my Sigma a few months ago. You can't beat Ray's work!!!;)

I have IWB holsters for all my carry guns. They are all made by Side Guard Holsters. The owner Erik is a member of this forum. He's a great guy to do business with. Turn around time was about 8 weeks for the last holster he made for me.

For a quick, in-expensive substitute until you get the Milt Sparks try a Don Hume holster. I picked one up at a close-out sale for $15 (new) for my 386 L-frame and I'm happy with the quality and fit (especially at that price). I think their IWB is a model 715. It's like $30 retail.

I plan to order a more intricate S.R. for Christmas, so the Don Hume will definitely hold me over til then.
