I made an end of berrel tuner to see for myself how well if at all the darn things work. I've done some research and this is my "on the cheap" design.
Made out of junk parts that I save becauise you never know when it might come in handy
, it's constructed with a PVC pumbing bushing for the press fit attachment point, a steel tube from a broken lamp, and three large washers wrapped in electrical tape.
I really worked better than I hoped and really helped with consistant groups with the cheap ammo. The rifle itself generally only shoots bugholes with Tenex and R50, but that's just way too expensive for a steady diet.
The Kimber won one a placed a few of the games in a fun shoot today.
It's nice to see a sporter hold her own in such company.
