I have always been fascinated with these because they are a neat collectible and a good start into collecting. I had to sell off a few a while back when I needed the money and now I am getting some back, and some I never had. Right now I have the two 2005 cars, the Law Enforcement tribute and the Corporate Car as well as the 1996 Chevy truck. Another little edition is the 1/64 Rick Mast Remington camo car. I am not a big Nascar fan per se, but these are nice. I hope to follow these up with some of the First Gear trucks like the Mack conventional with the trailer.

ko41 does indeed have a great collection. He has answered several question for me in regard to collectiong which is greatly appreciated. He has been very free with his knowledge & photos. One of the "White Hat" members.

KO41 Is that a Semi Tractor Trailer with a sleeper cab in the first slide way in the back? If so, I've never seen one before....is any of your collection up for sale? [email protected]

Yes, that is the 1852-2002 150th Anniversary Tractor Trailer. On the back of the trailer it says, 1 of 500.
As far as anything being for sale, you'll have to contact my widow when that time comes.

KO, could you identify the vehicle that is to the left of the Green Chevy...it looks like it might be blue with white or silver fenders and a red pin stripe?

Here you go Roy, this is a scan of the diecasts in the 2003 S&W Apparel-Collectibles-Accessories catalog.
The one you are referring to is "R." 1932 Ford Coupe.

Good luck in your quest.

Thanks KO. I'd pay top dollar to get my hands on the Peterbilt Tractor-Trailer, the P51 Mustang and that 32 Ford Coupe/Bank...when do you think I can talk to your widow? (smile) You've been a great help.

KO41

KO41 You have been extremely helpful to me in acquiring my Smith & Wesson Diecast collection....it is almost complete....at least as gathering together what you have collected (and posted here at the Forum). One exception is the Peterbuilt Semi by SpecCast, on the event of S&W's 150 anniversary. I'm still trying to track one down. Where did you buy yours? Lastly, have you ever heard of an electrified S&W train....we both know about the HO scale 4 piece set(non electricfied)...since we both have that in our collections. I've been told that there is an HO scale electrified version, with track, out there...any thoughts on that? And by the way I did come across a Chevy Silverado Hot Wheels pick up truck (Black & White)s with a surf board in the bed...real sweet item. Thanks for any help you can give. S&W Boy

The Peterbuilt Semi I bought from S&W.
The electric train is shown here http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-...th-wesson-express-ho-train.html#post137567281

I have not seen the Hot Wheels pick up.....please post a photo.

Hot Wheels Pick-up with Surf Board

KO41, here are the pictures of that Hot Wheels Pick -up...I've never been able to find another one....this one came as a complimentary item in a larger order from a dealer in PA. I have asked the dealer if he had any more and he doesn't. Been looking religiously on e-bay, Amazon, etc. ...no luck. S&Wboy Click on picture to enlarge

Here are two die cast delivery trucks along with a P-51 Mustang. I'm sorry for the original 1902 Smith & Wesson prints that are showing in the background. Nothing says I am a serious Smith & Wesson collector like a piece of s--- chinese toy.

Many of the diecast vehicle replicas were made by First Gear at Peosta, Iowa for Toy Collector Club located in Dyersvliie, Iowa. Toy Collector club had either a license of marketing agreement with S&W at that time. Toy Collector Club is now out of business.
