I'm shooting CCI Quiet LR rounds, which are slow, at 710 FPS, and I want to keep using this ammo as I get to know my new rifle. But with a target 40 feet out, although I have a tight grouping, the holes are 4 inches below where I'm aiming. So how do I adjust the sights to raise the muzzle?

There is a tool that was made just for adjusting the front sight, if you bought your rifle new it should have been included in the box.
Good luck with adjustments and have fun with your rifle.

Need actual picture

I haven't seen any pictures of the front sight, and that's what I need, a closeup picture of the front sight being adjusted for elevation And in this S&W forum, there are numerous links to external websites, which have nothing to do with anything anyone is talking about. I don't get it.

Have you bothered to read the manual? If you didn't get an owners manual with your gun go on the Smith & Wesson website to view it or download it. It explains how to adjust the sights.

Had you wanted photos or video, you should have requested precisely that.
