I just got a Bianchi 9R-1 "upside down" shoulder holster. I had a woven nylon strap made for it because it was missing the strap.

There's a pic of the set-up below. I'll be damned if i can figure out how to get it on the right way.

See where the snap part of the woven strap is inserted through a slit in the leather?

You can't see them, but there are three other slits in the leather in the widest part of the leather strap. I know the other end of the strap has to go through one of them but then I'm just lost as to what to do next.

And I can't figure out why two buckles are needed.

I don't think a verbal explanation is gonna cut it. Does anyone have a picture handy that will help me with this puzzle?

Mike:

First, take the two slide adjustments off, then slip the nylon strap through any one of the multiple upper attachment points on the suspension harness, then re-install the two slide adjustments. (I included two because there was no way to sew the strap ends and still permit installation on your Bianchi harness; this permits the strap end to be secured without unnecessary loose ends).

If you continue to have difficulties please send the entire package to me and I will assemble it for you and return it with no delays.

Best regards.

Connect the nylon strap to one of the other "slits" you described. The holster will be worn on your offside, obviously. Slip the nylon strap over your head as you place the holster strap on your shoulder. The buckles are for adjustment purposes.

Hope this helps a bit.

Be safe.

Note:

You will likely have to fiddle with the choosing the particular "slit" to use and the adjustment for a proper fit.

"Bad" photo. Be aware the nylon strap is connected only twice; not three times as suggested by the photo.

It is connected only at the top in the photo and to the right of the three snaps at the bottom. Part of the strap is hidden by the leather. Sorry for the confusing photo.

Be safe.
