List the serial number off the butt and include the prefix (ie. ABC 1234).

ABD 9921 are the only numbers I can find.... I don't see a serial number on the butt....

that is the serial number....it is stamped on the bottom of the butt in the steel....
I don't have my catalog here at work, but someone will be along in a few minutes that does to give you a DOB on your revolver

Your gun comes from late 1982. Did you take the grips off to look at the butt of the gun on the steel grip frame?
