How about $4725! I thought Pythons were getting ridiculous prices but never thought a 19 would sell for so much.

*Edit ,Already posted should have put in the pre 1980 revolver.

Looks pretty nice, but I could have bought 6 at the price I paid for mine, and it looks almost as good (turn line). Somebody got in a bidding war, looks like.

Unreal! Sounds like a World War of bidders. Often shake my head at prices being paid these days.

Wow! I have a similar gun 19-3 3T's….no box…..slightly more used….I'd sell for $4000, if there are any takers…PM me for pics.

Model 19 that OP posted - # 970331267
"Winner" has good feedback, recent history of purchase high dollar guns, colts and S&W. Must have deep pockets !

Do you have that auction number? I would like to see who was bidding on it and what the ratings were

That seller always has awesome examples. And excellent pictures….a lot effort on their part for each listing.

MANY high quality photos help sell guns.

Keystone sold some guns for me in 2021 and most sold for well beyond my expectations. One was a 586-8 they sold for $1175. Couldn't believe it , even after consignment almost a $1000. Way more than I paid for it.

This is good news. I'm about to sell a 4" nickel 19-5 with box and paper work. 3Ts 1984…… I know it's not P&R but still, a rising tide lifts all ships.

I will sell my Combat Magnum no dash for half that...

I picked one up recently for $1k, 19 -3 pinned & recessed, 2.5" Magna Ported, re-finished in Nickel, came w/ Hogue rubber combat grips. Grooved combat grips in Super Walnut are on the way from Altamont.
I will post pics once I have it all together.

It's a shooter grade Model 19 -3. Serial # dates to 1969 as the year of manufacture. Pinned & recessed, 2.5" Magna Ported, now with Altamont Super Walnut Combat grips for better looks. The Hogue rubber combats it came with are actually great shooting grips. $1160.- for the package.
She's tight & snug w/ plenty of patina and character.

A dealer friend of mine offered me his 2 1/2 19-3, in excellent shape, original stocks, for 'only' $950 OTD....

I really don't need another safe queen so I didn't get it.
