what would you pay for a model 27-2 that looks and feels 98% or better? 3.5" barrel.

I figure anything under $700 is a good deal. In the box or case with the tools and papers, it's close to a $1000 gun.

just a few months back, on this board, someone sold both a blue and nickel example for $1500 each, so I think $700 is a worthy price if you can find one for that.

thanks guys. i found one for 800 that looks like new and appears to not have been tampered with. i'm gonna try to talk the guy down a little and offer to trade a new vaquero for some cash off. maybe i'll get lucky.

I gave $6oo for a Very Nice used Police Marked Nickel Three Point Five, and saw one sell on GB for $9oo- Niether had any box, tools, or papers. The best is always a good thing to own. Go 27's!
