Please tell me its a copy and paste.

The pictures are on an iphone 8 plus, not a PC.

There will no doubt be differences.

Sorry simple copy and paste no worky here.

You need to host your picture on a web based hosting site such as IMGUR. Free, all you need to do is create an account and upload pictures from your computer and then simply open your picture and you will be given a list of options to the right.Click copy after "Direct link" and past the URL on this site.

On this board when creating a post, hover your mouse over the little icon that looks like a picture frame and it will display "Insert Image". then click on it and there you can post the URL you copied at IMGUR.

It sounds way harder than it really is.

If the file is on your computer..when in the text window while posting, drop down below and you will see "Manage Attachments"

Then a window pops up and it prompts you to browse your computer..

Locate file.. select upload.. Viola..!! Picture...

That is a copy paste.
I right clicked on a pic, clicked on View Image Info, copied that info and placed it in between brackets with IMG in the first set and /IMG in the second

When I post/reply to a thread, immediately under where I type is a shaded box wit a "+" sign in the middle. Hit the plus sign and go to where you have your photo located (your computer desktop.?for instance ) .double click on the photo and it will be uploaded to your post. Does anybody know what time it is?

??? Not sure how your accomplishing this. Where is view image info?

When I find a pic on the Net, I right click on the pic and you get several choices; one of which is View Image Info. You click on that and then Copy it; put a [ and IMG, followed by a ], paste that image info inside, then [ followed by a /IMG and then a closing ].

This only works on pictures that are located on a separate server.. pictures you have taken will be on your computer and need a third party server to upload them to, then it will work for yours. Easier to go below to manage attachments..

Then to make it big upload copy link then paste it between

Just use the built in board image function. Then it's here as long as the board is and we don't spend the next 100 years looking at broken image links when it gets deleted from whatever 3rd party hosting service.

Yeah he left that part out about where he copied the pic.

FOR PICS ON YOUR COMPUTER, you are exactly right about using a hosting site EXCEPT as one poster commented on using thumbnail pics that can be uploaded from your computer. If you want large full size pics you will have to use a site like IMGUR.

Yes i tried that option if i'm thinking the same thing as you. Go to Pictures and Albums >>> Create new album>> message "You do not have permission to access" ??

Below your "reply" box is another that says advanced options. In that box there is a small box that says "manage attachments", click on that. Another box will appear with several lines and boxes that say "browse", click browse. Find your picture or pictures, click on it, then click open. Next to the browse box is another box that says "upload", click on that. Once the uploaded file shows in the manage attachments section, click submit for your reply. That should post your reply with the picture attached.
