How to replace 15-22 collapsible stock release lever???

I bought a NDZ Performance aluminum stock release lever. I'm not sure how to remove the stock one. It looks like a pin is holding the bolt in. I don't want to start pounding on it until I know for sure how to remove it. I don't want to damage anything.

Welcome to the forum.

I tried to find instructions on the NDZ's website and on youtube and came up empty.

I have a butt stock I don't use so I put it on the bench and figured it out for you. Good luck.

1. Pound out the pin using a 5/64th roll pin punch.
2. Rotate the screw clockwise with a flat head screw driver. When loose the release pin and spring will fall inside the butt stock.

Install your new NDZ release lever in reverse order.
