How to stipple?

I'm sure there are dozens of videos on YouTube, but from the M&P community, what are your tips on how to stipple?

This Texas heat (and it's not hot yet) has me considering roughing up that grip to make the sweat less of a factor.

Traditionally, metal is stippled with a tool that looks like a punch, and a hammer. Not sure how this would work on plastic though. I have seen some plastic frames that have been done with what looks like a hand held solder gun that came out good.

The easiest thing to do is search "Stippling" on this Forum. There is a Forum member here(Aaron?)who does great work at very reasonable prices. I have one of his back straps on my M&P40C & I like it a lot!

Why don't you click on the notable thread index in the top section of this page and look at the last item on the list!!! its a tutorial on how to stipple and it is extremely well done!

There was also some gorgeous pictures posted about a month or two ago from a guy who stippled his Shield. It looked like it was OEM --- that good.
