How to tell if my M&P has the lock?

How do I tell if my M&P has the lock. If it has a filled in hole with a arrow does that mean it doesn't or does have the lock. Thanks

Simply call s&w with the serial number, they will tell you. blue

The lock model has a key hole like the revolvers, if yours' has the plug in the lock hole then it doesn't.

ALL M&Ps that I have seen are made for the lock and the frames have the arrow and so forth whether the pistol has the lock or not. If the pistol has the lock it will actually be there and you can see it due to the key hole in the lock mechanism. If it is not there, there will be a solid filler or plug that fills the hole in the frame where the lock would normally be located.
