Having checked one out at the LGS, I liked it. I don't have a striker fired pistol, so I checked some youtube reviews. It is well liked, when it's working, but has a couple major flaws. Failure to eject and recoil spring retainer screw backs out. As a result I am leaning toward a Walther PPQ.
I am wondering what owners of the H9 pistol think.

I have never seen a cheap one, and the things are built right up the road from me. I personally would look at another model from a major manufacturer that is a proven design.

The H9 has major appeal for me as a design that is different. I would be interested to know what ammo was being used when there were ejection issues. Too much 115 gr ammo in the US is lightly loaded and won't operate 9mm pistols set up for "proper" ammo.

Some 30 failure to eject in 2000 shots. All kinds of ammo, but the premium ammo was better. The recoil retaining spring was backing out at 250 shots, even with red locktite. The youtube video was by someone who tests 2000 rnd firings. This is a $1,200.00 pistol and I think suggesting to put locktite on it is not good marketing.
I quite liked it. Maybe they will get the bugs out.

I recall the H9 creating “buzz” when introduced at SHOT just two or three years ago. Never understood the hype myself. It isn’t small, it isn’t cheap, and apparently isn’t very reliable. Hard pass for me
