#7 reminds me of a paving contractor who found a way to not have guys ticked off by delays. The flag persons were shapely young women in safety orange bikinis-and hard hats & safety shoes. They got to work on their tans while being paid,.

No doubt would result in protests today about...... ah, pick a label.
