One of the eternal questions is why does a child become yours when they do something wrong? Considering this question brought back a memory. When my son was at his grandparents, he was always an angel, never having done wrong. We wondered what we were doing wrong. Then one time we arrived to pick him up. We could hear him carrying on and my father loudly commanding him to shut up. We looked at each other, smiled..........and came back later to get him.
Where, of course, he'd been no trouble at all.
