Gotta believe the wolves win more than once in a while. I would like to see the rest of the video where the wolf starts getting the advantage. Cut off the video when the wolf gets going...........

Hunting with birds of prey is quite an experience.

The times I went, we used a red tailed hawk or some slightly smaller falcon (possible a peregrine, don't recall).

We were rabbit hunting and got several. The birds were amazing, and quite serious about the whole thing. Getting them to give up the rabbit was not anything like getting a Lab to spit out a duck.

A golden Eagle and a Wolf sounds like an even match to me.

Yesterday a young bald eagle (dark head) lit on a tree over my terrier and gave him a long look. I never thought that my dog was looking like lunch to this young though very large bird.

I know for a fact a Golden Eagle looks at a house cat as a tasty snack (even when the eagle was on a perch with a 25' tether).

It would depend on the size of the Pit, and how hungry the eagle was.
