Hunting with Golden Eagles

This is falconry beyond anything I have ever seen. They start training the children at 13. One of the current crop is a girl and the final picture is just wonderful, though a little scary. Enjoy.

The shots that scared me were the ones of the child on that precarious rock outcropping with heaven knows how far to fall, and balancing that enormous bird. Simply amazing.
