I ran across a quote today I found interesting. Lou Holtz once said, "Don't tell your problems to people; 80 percent don't care and the other 20 percent are glad you have them." Unfortunately, Lou may be out of step with our whiny age but I find myself agreeing with him.

Seems folks these days want to let you know about every issue they have, every “microaggression” and every time they’re offended. It’s a bottomless sea of discontent. Worse yet, this generation of complainers never seems to blame themselves for their own problems. You know, life is often not fair, you gotta deal with it.

Love the Allman Bros song of old:
Dont Tell Me Your Troubles.
Alway came to mind when confronted by complainers.

I am so glad of that, as life has been unfair primarily in my favor. I'm dealing with it pretty well.... :)

/Karma means that if you treat someone badly, they probably deserved it

I don't have time to be offended, I have to work so the government can give my tax money away to those who don't want to work. It's the way I was raised, so I just keep working. As a wise Lt. once told me if some people spent as much time working as they did b****hing they would be the best Officers/Detectives the PD ever had.

It's the age of everybody gets a participation trophy so
nobody gets left out or feels like they lost.
While in reality in life you are gonna win some and you
will most certainly lose some.
The current PC state does not prepare folks for the real
world out there.
Some of these little kiddos are going to be sorely disappointed
when their eyes are opened.
