Can someone give me some help with embedding a photo into a post? I tried loading photos to Picasa and to FreeImageHosting.net and I copy the url after clicking on the Insert Image button but when I hit submit nothing shows.

Here is a link I am trying to embed
7bpxy.jpg at Free Image Hosting

Yet when I try the Insert Image button I get nothing but blank space. I will try to use the button and insert the image below the dashed line. Can someone PLEASE tell me what step I am missing?

For a thumbnail, you can use the manage attachment icon under the reply box, just scroll down a little.
For a full size you need a hosting site like Photobucket.

OK since you have the pic hosted, just wrap HTML tags around it.
Click "Quote" next to my post to see what I mean...

OK let me give it a shot

Evidently I am a moron.

The site link when I click Quote as you directed shows
http://www.freeimagehosting.net/newuploads/7bpxy.jpg

Yet the site I am looking at right now on another tab only says Link to Image as FreeImageHosting.net

How did you know to add the newuploads part???
I just don't get it.

Here is another image I loaded tonight
The URL shows h176q.jpg at Free Image Hosting

When I try to click Manage Attachments I added a .jpeg. I will try to add it below.
SXT.jpg

Now I am going to try to Insert an Image use the button above which should add the HTML, correct? But it does not show /newuploads/ before the file name. I added bracket IMG bracket and ended it with bracket /IMG bracket but it still won't show.
Image should appear between dash lines
----
h176q

----
Now I will try adding the wording /newuploads/ in the URL with same html code.

Go to the picture you want. Right click the picture and select "copy image URL". Come back to the forum and select the
insertimage.gif
. Paste the URL in the place for it.

Another try

Thanks for your patience

Here goes another try since it did not work except as an attachment

I will use lower case img
I will go to the photo and copy and paste the URL
