$40 a brick of 500.
I'm lucky that I'm well stocked on ammo, but had very little standard velocity stuff.

And as luck would have it I recently picked up a very nice 1947 vintage Remington 121 pump that is a very picky eater. I bought a pre war Remington Model 12 pump at the same time (which post war became the 121 with a few changes) that seems to shoot a wide range of ammo all to point of aim.

Most of my 22 ammo I stockpiled at 2-3 cents around, and this is the first ammo I've bought since the crazy was unleashed. Still glad to find it.

I guess this is actually the first 22 ammo I've even seen in months. It was at my local LGS.

I think that ammo is some of the best 22LR in production today. I bought 20 bricks back a years or so ago and paid $24/brick. It's extremely accurate ammo in every 22 rifle or handgun i shoot it from!

Both my model 41 and my High Standard Supermatic Trophy perform very well with CCI standard velocity. You did well. Good ammo.

I'm also glad i was able to buy all those bricks back then too. Don't get me wrong, I didn't buy 20 bricks all at once because I couldn't afford that. I bought 2 or 3 at a time over time and that's how I got so many. (and over the Winter when I wasn't shooting much)

I use CCI SV for suppressed shooting. Had been buying by the case from sgammo for $250. They have a live inventory for customer view and always had 50-100 cases in stock. I had not seen any in stock since early this year so I recently sent them an email asking when they expected to be selling by the case again. The reply was... Your guess is as good as ours.

Nice to hear you found some, I was lucky and bought a case of it early in the year before the latest craziness started. Just a FYI the 500 round bricks of 10 50 round boxes are made at either the Idaho plant or a Federal plant and the 100 round plastic boxes are made at the Idaho plant. Both work well in my Model 17-4 but my friends Model 41 hates the stuff in the 50 round boxes from the lot I have but loves the stuff in the 100 round boxes. Will be happy if the ammo thing settles down.

Went to a large well stocked gun shop this past weekend. OMG

100 Round CCI-18.95
550 Round Brinks were 65.00

People should refuse to buy at those inflated prices. If people would quit buying large quantities as soon as it appears on the shelf and paying hi prices, the supply would soon return to normal as well as prices.

In December 2012, just before the craziness, I bought a 1600 round ammo can of CCI .22LR for $88 at local outdoor store.
Now, I see the hundred round CCI sleeves of .22LR going for $17.00.

I've been saying the same for months but it seems no one wants to listen. I'm guessing it's just another symptom of the "ME" generation. :(
