This little model 37 airweight was irresistible.
It felt good with the smooth grips & grip adapter.
Pointed and aimed well.

Straight to the range I went.
I wasn't expecting too much accuracy wise so I only set the tin man out at 50 feet.
I was pleasantly surprised when they all hit and very well centered to boot.

The little J-frame gets a bad reputation when it comes to accuracy. The reality is that they are far more accurate than most people will ever realize. What hinders J-frame shooting is the short sight radius, small grip, somewhat heavy trigger pull, and stronger recoil impulse when compared to the K, L, or N-frame revolvers.

I love those grips! I've never seen smooth square butt service stocks on a J frame before! They appear to be factory and the grain is gorgeous!

I saw a marked improvement in my shot groups when I changed out the factory grips on my "Chief's Special" to Altamont boot grips. I too was surprised at the accuracy of this little revolver, especially with the boot grips.
