About 4 years ago my BIL was looking for a handgun. I sold him my like-new Sig P238 for $400.00......with one caveat; If he were to ever get rid of it, he had to sell it back to me for the same price. I've had seller's remorse ever since.

I have (well, had now) a Shield 2.0 9mm and bought a Shield Plus 9mm a couple of months ago. I asked him if he would be interested in my Shield 2.0. He said he would. We just did a gun-for-gun swap today. He never even fired the P238 since he got it from me, and I only put maybe 50 rounds through it after I bought it.

Now I'm happy. :D

Congratulations, and good on your in-law for keeping his promise! I see a '60s style Motown song coming out of the thread title. :)

I entered this thread expecting it to be about an FN Baby Browning.

I was actually considering getting a SIG P238 on two separate occasions when I was shopping for a Concealed Carry .380 Pistol, but ended up getting a Walther PPK/S followed by a Ruger LCP instead.

I really liked the P238 Black Pearl and Rainbow Ti models the most from an aesthetic standpoint.

I replaced the Factory Rosewood grips with Houge Piranha G10 G-Mascus Green Grips.

I have a Sig P238 in green and white. I call it the "Turtle Gun" after the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." The Crimson Trace really helps dial it in. I've always said the Pennsylvania State University should license Sig to make a similar gun in "Blue and White" and call it the 'Nittany Lion Special." With Penn State having the largest dues-paying alumni group Sig would probably sell all they could make.
