I consider myself a very lucky 15-22 owner. Mine has been near perfect out of the box. I had the usualFTFs until I learned how to loadthe mags. As of today, I have put 1100rds. down the tube. I noticed that the rifle started running very well after about 500rd. My experience with this little black rifle has been near perfect. I have only used Federal Champion bulk and CCI Mini Mag so far. I also clean it religeously, after each use.
I also have a Sig 522 that is a great runner, too. It will shoot most any round fed it. It is heavier than the 15-22, though. I just love to shoot'em both.

My 15-22 has also served me flawlessly. I've used primarily only federal bulk and some champion bulk mixed in here or there. I even tried Remington bulk with success, though I didn't continue to do so as a result of other owners' experiences with it.

I clean it after ever trip to the range, which is usually about ever 300-500 rounds. I hope it can keep this track record going :)

well im happy ive enjoyed the heck out of mine...

I got mine back from smith on Tuesday, put 650rds. of fed bulk through on Wednesday, had 8 fails to load in the first half, second half no problem, and on friday put another 500 through no problem.

It seems to take a few hundred rounds to get settled in.

1300 rounds before OOB, 1150 since

I stoped counting rounds at 2000. I have to be over 3000 by now. 99% are Federal 550 and Federal Champion. It will not fire CCI. !??! I'm cleaning it now after another 300 rounds down range.

I also stoped having problems after 400-500 rounds. I'm guesing it got "broke in". I hope I'm not jinxing myself!

congrads, ive put over 500rds through mine, majority Federal Bulk, but i also shot CCI mini mags, Wincher SuperxRN, and have shot a Mag full of Winchester Wildcats the other day, flawless.

550 rounds of federal bulk - 3 FTF (stood up in the mag).
had a few rem. subsonics that didn't go boom but i assume it is bad ammo as the casing had a nice dent from the firing pin.

not sure why i had the FTFs as i'm careful how i load the mags.

been out shooting two times and both times the damn temperature didn't crack 20 or i'd have more rounds through it. overall, so far so good.
