I just bought a Springfield Arms XDm 5.25 Competition.

I've put about a hundred rounds thru it and it's nice.

I going to shoot it in competition this weekend.

Congrats! Let us know how you like it.

I have not shot one yet, but they look great.

I am very interested in thoughts after you shoot your comp rounds this weekend. I bought one a month (XDM 5.25 bbl, .40 cal) -- have put about 350 rounds thru it -- including 4 qualifying POST scores (60 rounds on a graded course with 5 stages) after I had put about 75 rounds thru it just to get familiar with it. I really like it and the trigger was very nice right out of the box (plus it came with 3 mags, mag holder, paddle holster. It will be my carry weapon as a reserve police officer in a nearby town.

I have always liked the XD's I have several of the non M models and the XDm 45. It's scary accurate, never missed a beat, eats anything. SA service is as good or better than SW. I had a 9mm magazine that would not drop free. I called them and they said "oh can't have that", we will send you another. I asked if they wanted this one back. Nope keep it. Few days latter new one in the mail.:)

Well, I competed today and absolutely love this gun.

I didn't win (I never do) but not one hiccup of any kind by this XDm.

Very accurate / very easy to handle.

Another shooter (close friend) borrowed it at two stages.

He's gonna get one now.

I'm even more excited about my new gun now.

I'm also interested in how it performs for you. I have an XD40 and I'm seriously considering one like yours in 9mm.
