My first CCW weapon was the SW40VE. There was nothing I did not like about this gun, except that at times, it was a little hard to conceal. I later got a Ruger SR9c and have carried it for a year. Love that gun too. Having said that, I went back to carrying the Sigma again a couple of days ago and it was like seeing an old friend that has been away for a while. I really appreciated the fit and feel of the gun. There is something about the simplicity of operation and the inherent safety of the trigger that still brings a smile to my face. And, what's not to like about 14 rounds of .40 cal at your disposal?

I prefer a 1911 or 1911A1 (and not some "enhanced" version with even more stuff sticking out all over), as they are remarkably trim, and super-easy for me to carry in preferred mex. Never have had trouble concealing anything but 7.5"bbl single actions and a Redhawk.

The Sigma is a bit blockier that a 1911 in that it just doesn't taper anywhere, but it is a smooth and light package, no prodding sharp edges, and draws light greased lightning. Mine has been remarkably reliable through 650rds now, which is more than i can say for quite a few VERY expensive self-loaders i have owned.

If i can't trust it, it doesn't stay, and if i don't use it regularly, it doesn't stay...the Sigma will stay a while.

Glad you guys like the sigma, count me in too!

It's been nothing but fun since day one!

When we go to and from daylight savings time, I have to reset my Timex, but the sigma just keeps on ticking! LOL! ;)

Love? No.

I love my revolvers :D

My 9mm is a tool pure an simple and a darn good one IMHO.

As an edc, its the best i've found for lefty carry with what I consider a BUTT LOAD of ammo.

Big step up from a five shot .38 snubby ;)

Amen to all of that.
