Last weekend, went to the range with a 10-5 that
has a wonderful trigger, and a M36 snub. Most of my
practice is with a 442 and a 642, which work well for me.
I was amazed to find out, that at about 10 yds. I
was missing a gallon milk jug. Maybe 4 solid hits out of
about 20 rounds. Never shot so poorly, (except for that
really big buck), that I can remember. There must be
enough difference in grips so that I wasn't holding right.
A couple hundred rounds with all four should help.

Try tying the milk jug down those things will run around a lot and they're hard to hit when dodging like that.:D

Jokes aside a difference in grips can make a really big difference in your shooting. I bought a 22lr Diamondback years ago that the previous owner had put Hogue (I think) grips on and I couldn't hit the side of a barn if I was locked inside.

Went to a gun show and found a set of stock grips and it suddenly became a tackdriver.

There's no substitute for practice and more practice. I was having the same problem with my 642 early on. I put a large piece of cardboard behind my target to see where the shots were missing and corrected from there. Try pulling your target in a little closer and practice point shooting. Very satisfying when you get it right.
