So, I happened upon a small gun store today that I didn't know about and stopped in... They had some nice products and firearms along with an indoor range.

I asked about mags for my 15-22 when the guy pulled out a couple of Plinker tactical (35) round mags for $25 each.

I passed on the purchase due to the iffy reports. Was that a good move or not? I hate to waste money just to say I have additional mags and I'm willing to wait out the storm but I would to hear some thoughts on this product.

Ive got one new in package I bought from a buddy.. waiting to try it out, so I cant help you there.. But the price was right for 25 bux

I also passed on some at a LGS last week. These were $29 each and had iffy reports so I left them. They did have a whole case available...

I ordered 1 just to see for myself. Got it and right out of the package it worked with out a jam. Totally pleased. Make sure you pay that ridiculous $7.99 for that cheap piece of plastic to load it. Not sure if I could put all the rounds in it with out it. Took it apart and now looking at, the spring looks pretty flimsy and not much fun getting it back in. We'll put to further testing and report back.

I bought two and I am using a slide fire. One dumps the whole 35 rounds no problem. The other I get FTEs with. I assume the spring is probably a bit too strong but this should work itself out with time.

I bought a Plinker mag a month ago and it's worked flawlessly the five occassions I've used it. I didn't buy the load assist, so it's a pain to load. For that reason I'm sticking with the Promags. I have 2 Promags and I have one more on the way.

I have 2. I also paid $22 each new. They run perfect. No problems at all. They are a lil long but I like em.

I bought 4 of the Plinkers and have only used 2 of them and had no issues with either of them. I am in the process of installing my Slidefire stock today and it might be a different story with it but I will see. Also my brother bought 2 of the Plinkers and he has not had any feed issues with them either, but there again he is not using a Slidefire stock.

I bought one the other day, wish it was 25.00. It was 35.00. However, I have emptied it twice, with no problems. Have read on here about others having problems with this mag, so it's a judgment call. If the LGS had them for 25 instead of 35, I'd be on my way now to pick another one up.

I used a bent cleaning rod for the load assist. Had a spare handle to screw on top of it, so it looks and works pretty well so far. Would love to post a pic of it if I knew how...

I have 2 AND THEY ARE THE TITS. Planning on getting 2 more. I got mine when price gouging was real bad..so now they dropped back down.. Just bought an ar15 colt so I need to gear that up first.. but anyway.. if you know what your doin with ammo type and also don't forget to buy the load assist tool. that's why these morons jam up there casings and there shat don't run straight. The trick is getting ammo wink wink////////:eek:
Also just got the Plinker Tactical charging handle from gunbroker 38 bucks..beet that tactifool22

Factory 15/22 mags are so very good (in my experience, anyway) that I wouldn't care for aftermarket mags either. That, of course, assumes the factory mags are in stock when needed.

As stated before, the ones I received look like junk still in pkge, the owner of this outfit called this am and I missed the call, called back this pm and he was gone. I may try again tomorrow but.... they know what I want per previous emails, (refund and shipping covered) and yet he wants to talk:rolleyes: we will see:rolleyes:
