BANDIT #3 that is. Burt Reynolds is in Knoxville making a movie and they were filming some scenes at Neyland Stadium(UT football). my grandson was there for football camp. as I walked up to the stadium a bunch of people were pushing this beautiful black Trans Am into a trailer. I stopped in my tracks, my mouth dropped open and I asked "is that what I think it is?". a lady said it is one of them, #2 just left. a guy standing there supervising saw my Viet Nam Veteran cap and motioned me over and opened the side door so I could see the hood. I reached in and touched the fender and told him they would have to wipe it down again. he assred me they would. I was 27 when Smokey and the Bandit came out. i'm old now but still like the old muscle cars. lee

I had just gotten out of high school when that movie came out. It was playing every night at a drive in that a friend of mine worked at. I bet I saw it or at least was there when it played, 100 times. Still get a kick when I see the movie and a black TA still turns my head.

John, my wife had the camera down on the football field and my phone doesn't take pictures. besides, it was in the truck turned off. after I saw it I did get my phone and called both my friends. the movie is Dog Years and is due out this fall. lee
