Made an impulse buy today. I sold my Taurus Slim 9mm to a buddy. Then I picked up a Smith and Wesson 39-2 from another buddy. I didn't know much about the Smith ahead of time. The gun was like new, no more then 20 rounds, with the original box and paper manual. I mean heck even the slide rails are still Blued! Had two mags also.

Best part is I got it for 280. I think I did pretty good and it will go nicely with my M&P duty gun!

I wish I could find a nice 39-2 for $280. Heck, you would do well to find one in that shape for $100 more.

got lucky and have several holster that fit it as well but I feel kind of guilty carrying it because its in such nice condition.

Everybody is happy so you did very well. The 39 has a lot of good history going for it. IIRC it was supposed to have replaced the 1911 as NATO wanted all the country's to have 9mm. It is an excellent gun that fit's my hands just right. The 59 is to big. Enjoy!
