I ran across this at a flea market and for 5 bucks usd I knew the parts are worth more than that. I also picked up the 22lr octagon barrel, Not sure what that goes to but 22lr fits perfect. I even took a hammer and ran a couple rounds though it. Thoughts on these two items. Thanks

I would call it a 32 Single Action model, since there is a Model 1 1/2 that is a tip-up revolver in 32 Rimfire. Looks like only the frame and hammer remain. No idea what the 22 barrel is from, but do know it is not S&W.

Thanks. I was going to try to get the parts and rebuild it, but I did a search on Numrich and it seems like its going to be too expensive. I would have to try to find a gun with a broken frame. Maybe I will just sell it.

I guess I am going to sell it on GB. My question is does this fall under C&R or Antique? Do I need an FFL from the buyer?

Definitely not a firearm by definition. All this model was made on or before 1892 so are classified as antiques requiring no license to own or sell or ship. I agree that any parts that might be available would way outstrip the value of the completed revolver. They can be purchased at low price on GB. Chances are that you will never find all the parts you need to complete the gun so a wall display or selling are the best options. Most likely that someone would want the hammer, so it might sell.

Is there a serial number on the butt?
Looks like a great find at a flea market. The barrel, Wow!
With a lot of time and a machine shop a guy could stay busy all winter and have fun all spring. Any markings on the barrel, do I see a 7 and a 6 ? Is the barrel rifled, I hope someone identifies this barrel. A great find and thanks for posting.

Birds head frame,, I’ve seen a belt buckle recently also. I’m thinking a birds head cane / walking stick might be the perfect Barbecue ensemble
