I want a 25-2 3" barrel

How do I go about it?

If I buy an older 25-2 with a 6" barrel, can I get a 3" barrel installed?

Where would one buy a 3" 25-2 barrel?

Do they cut down the old barrel? Not sure how that would work.

I'm fairly new at this custom revolver thing. So be gentle...

Theres a bunch of cut down 25-2's floating around in past posts. The only thing nice about starting fresh is you could spec it the way you want it. I think cutting them down to 2.5" was the norm. I also think someone posted a picture of a 25-2 cut down and refinished by Austin Behlert (very nice). At todays prices you might be better off buying one already cut and finished. I'm in the camp that thinks a 25-2 2.5" is a cool piece.
