Yea, I know, I should have but I didn't..a few years ago, passed on a great deal on a Model 19-2 2.5" barrel, in really great shape.

Guy was selling it for $300...My fun money was tapped out at the time, having just finished buying another M1 Garand.

I should have just bit the bullet and pulled the money out of savings...

So to hold me over till I find one...how about easing a fellows pain and show me some nice Model 19's?

Please....:D

I yearned for a Combat Magnum for over 30 years before I finally broke down and bought the 4" bbl gun of my dreams.
That and this forum cause the dam to break. Since then I bought the 2.5" and carry it daily.
The 6" was just too purty to pass up.

I bought this one two weeks ago at Cabela's. It has a 2.5" barrel, plus it's Magna Ported. Target Trigger and hammer.

My 19-3's

I shoot the 6 inch a lot (mostly 38spl).
i shoot the 4 inch very little.

Thanks guys, I'm on the hunt. I know where one is that was engraved with the Texas Ranger's badge, but the guy that has it is not, at this time, wanting to sell.

It's like new, not a mark on it.

Hi there, dont worry one will be Yours! I only have three 19s, in the pic from front to back are, 19-4, 19-6 and a 19-5 bringing up the rear.

Hi,

Just hang in there. Model 19s are one of S&W most popular wheelguns and there are a lot of 'em out there that are very nice indeed.

Stick around this place a few weeks and I'll bet you'll find one priced right in the "Guns For Sale" area.

That's what happened to me on this one. Ditto with the Patrick Grashorn American Elk Stag grips. He sells 'em in the Accessories Classifieds under the name Executioner. Great work . . .and they really personalize the gun. So . . .

Here's some eye candy . . . a purdy, factory nickle-plated 2 1/2" version Model 19-5 for ya, from around 1982 . . .
