Someone posted a thread with pics of some Glock magazines labeled on the bottom. They looked really nice and had white letters. Do these electronic label makers emboss the colored tape in white when they imprint??

There are several on sale now and I do not know which to get.

The label maker I had used a black cartridge on printed on white labels. Not sure if you can use diffferent color labels or cartridges.

Most label makers will use whatever color tape you want to feed them.

I use a Brother P-Touch labeler for lots of things, including the bottom of my magazines. The label tapes comes in white on black, white on clear (no good for magazines!!!), white on black, red on white, blue on white, black on yellow... I've even gotten some different fancy colors at craft stores (aimed at the scrapbooking market). I recommend the Brother P-Touch; get the one that takes the "Z" type tape cartridge (about the size of a thick cassette tape), not the one that uses the little tiny ones (a little larger than a micro-cassette tape). Office supply stores and discount stores usually only carry the basic tape sizes and colors, but you can catalogue order about anything from someplace like Staples or Office Max.

One caution... be careful who knows you've got it, or all of your friends, coworkers, and family members will be wanting to use it!!!

Are you the one that showed pics of the Glock magazines (don't worry I will not tell):D

When you say the tape is white on black, is that white type on black background (tape) ?

Thanks

I didn't post the pictures, but I labeled my .45 (1911) mags, and use the P-Touch for all sorts of things. You can get 3/8" and 1/2" tapes (the most common sizes) with white letters on black background and black letters on white background. Any decent office supply store will have them in stock.
