Was having a discussion with one of the former co-workers today concerning guns, self/home-defense, and the current events coming out of New York. One thing that stood out to me and that I couldn't get my head around was the following quote she said;
-" I would rather own a bulletproof vest than a gun, for self-defense. I figure people have a right to bear arms, but procuring said arms is not guaranteed to be speedy or efficient."
Knowing we've always had a difference of opinions hasn't bothered me, she believes what she believes and I haven't held it against her, but if this is really the thinking coming from the other side, im quite amazed at their reasoning. Im just completely baffled....
