Can anyone identify the brand of this Magazine and if the quality is good?
I was told it is a genuine Smith Mag!

A 4056 would be a 4056TSW steel frame DAO variant of the DAO 4053TSW using a double stack 9 rd mag with a blue follower. This is different from the non TSW 4013/4053 which were single stack. There was no plain (nonTSW) single stack 4056.

A 12 rd double stack with a black follower would most likely be a 9mm from a 6906 which would be similar in size to a 4013TSW/4053TSW/4056TSW 9rd double stack 40SW mag.

It looks like an OE SW 69xx 9mm mag to me, but be aware there are recent 69xx 12 rd clones (2023) which I cant distinguish from OE SW.

I doubt it would hold 12 40SW rounds, and I would not trust it in a 4056TSW as they were designed for a 9rd 40SW mag with a blue follower.

If you need more rounds, I understand the 4006 11rd 40SW mag fits but sticks out. This can be addressed by a spacer / filler similar to the one used on 5906 15rd 9mm mags in a 6906.
