Identifying .38 Special CTG

Cabelas has numerous very lightly used .38 Specials for $299. I was looking at one tonight but I can't make out the year / model. The serial # is CER96xx and it has another number stamped on the inside 491.

Any thoughts on this? Thank you.

I couldn't find a .38 priced that low in Cabela's Gun Library. The serial number would probably have been used about 10-12 years ago.

ADDED: Actually, I think item numbers are not allowed either, so don't do that. The gun is probably a Model 64, the stainless steel version of the traditional Model 10. I'm not sure which dash number the M64 would have been up to about then. 64-5 maybe?
